Model Boat Show 2009: Photographs

Models were displayed in various buildings all over "downtown" Woods Hole. Models ranged from ancient to new, from working to leisure, from huge to tiny, from whimsical to historic.

There are a large number of Model Boat building clubs all over the world. Many clubs in the United States were represented here as well as a few international clubs.

American Model Yachting Association display
The American Model Yachting Association is devoted to promoting the designing, building, racing, and preservation of all model sailing yachts. The AMYA was founded in 1970 through the efforts of the famous "nine", who were scattered across the country and Canada and represented a different class of yacht along with their Association duties. For more information about AMYA, visit their website at theamya.org/
