MARINE BIOACOUSTICS AT WHOI: The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) is the gorilla of the Woods Hole scientific institutions. Home to geologists, geophysicists, biologists, chemists, physical oceanographers, and applied engineers, WHOI is the largest privately funded ocean science institution in the world. Here's a glance at some of the research conducted here.

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution has offices and laboratories tucked away all over Woods Hole. Redfield Laboratory (third photo below) is located on Water Street across the street from Luscombe Avenue.
